With children’s growth at heart and care delivered right to their doorsteps, on the afternoon of May 28, Dan Mingqin, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the Women’s Federation of Zhongmu New Area, together with Chen Xuemei, Chairwoman of Chen’s Sunshine, formed a charitable outreach team. They visited selected families in the jurisdiction, conducting home visits and offering heartfelt condolences face-to-face. On May 29, volunteer representatives from all towns and townships in Zhongmu New Area gathered at the headquarters office building of Chen’s Sunshine to hold a ceremony for collecting Children’s Day gifts and a public‑interest symposium. The venue was neatly arranged, with participants seated in orderly groups by township, creating an atmosphere that was both solemn and warm.

At the symposium, Zhao Yanxu, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairwoman of the Women’s Federation of the Zhongmu New Area, delivered a message on fostering the healthy growth and well-being of children, highly commending Chen’s Sunshine for its deep roots in the local community, its profound compassion, its proactive commitment to social responsibility, and its sustained dedication to public welfare. She called for rallying the combined efforts of government, enterprises, townships, and civil society to jointly build a heartwarming platform for supporting children.

Following the symposium and exchange, a heartwarming ceremony was held to distribute charitable supplies in celebration of Children’s Day. This year’s care packages were thoughtfully curated with schoolbags, stationery sets, water bottles, sports balls, educational modeling clay, and other learning, daily‑life, and developmental items—balancing practicality with fun—to help the children learn joyfully and grow with enthusiasm.

On-site staff distributed supplies in an orderly manner, and representatives from each township collected them in due course. Coordinated by the Chen’s Sunshine initiative in collaboration with the Women’s Federation of Zhongmu New Area, volunteers across the townships worked together, assigning tasks and ensuring precise delivery, bringing care packages one by one to the homes of other children facing hardship. This effort ensured comprehensive support and heartfelt warmth, allowing every child to experience joy and feel cared for on Children’s Day.
