Australian Orange
Place of origin: Australia, the producing areas of Australian fresh oranges are concentrated in the three regions of Riverland, Riverina, and Suraysia, which are all located in the murray-darling basin, the annual precipitation is usually between 250~500 mm. The microclimate in these areas infuses many attractive features to Australian oranges: Pleasant aroma, bright skin and long storage life.
Production season: Basically the oranges are supplied all the year round, starting from the planting of early-ripe navel oranges in autumn (April to May), and extending to the planting of mid-ripe navel oranges in winter (June to August), and the planting of late-ripe navel oranges in spring (September to November).
Appearance and taste: The skin of Australian navel orange has bright color, with few spots left by pest diseases. The flesh is soft, sweet, juicy, and seedless, with a long storage life.
